31 Balls of Fluff

Have you ever had your phone ring at about 6:15am to let you know that there was a box full of little chicks waiting for you at the post office?  Well, Stephen knew from past experience, that was when the call would probably be coming... and sure enough, we got the call dark and early this morning.  :)  We are now the owners of 31 balls of fluff!  So far, all have survived little hands!

And an Aunt Anna moment.

Life has been full and very blessed around here.

Mr. Ittai is growing well.  He's having more awake time and we've started seeing a few smiles during awake times... and not just those sleeping smiles.  He's a little sweetie and is just squeesable and kissable.  He hasn't proved to be the best nighttime sleeper yet... but likely that is at least partly my fault.

"Aunt Anna" is still here and has been a HUGE help.  Today she took C and H for an outing and let me have some quiet time to work on stuff around the house.  We've also been able to have some good chats.  We're gonna miss her when she goes!  Thankfully, we still have over a week and a half!

Stephen has been busy with work, studying for a big engineering test, studying for speaking at church and projects around the house.  And speaking of the "around the house projects" he sure is a talented man!  In the last few months, among other things, he has built us a bed, refinsh a desk and started work on both a chicken coop and a bunk bed for C and H!  I'll have get pictures of some of his handy work!

And speaking of chicken... we are expecting 30 baby chicks to arrive in the mail this week, Lord willing.  We've ordered 20 layers and 10 meat chickens.  The beginning of our little "homestead".  :-)

So there you have it, a little bit of this and that from our lives.  The Lord is so good to us!

Here's a few pictures of a littl guy haning out with his Daddy!

I think I've shared before about "getting" to pretend I'm Joseph when Clara wants to play "Mary and Joseph".  Well it's been a long time since we last played that... but it came up again the other night... and Aunt Anna got the privilege!  :-)  Had to capture the moment.

Bath Time Sweetness

Aunt Anna has been such a help!  She gave all three kidos baths this morning!  I had to share some of these adorable bath time shots!

What a precious little guy!

He looks so chunky in this picture!

We had a very enjoyable outing this morning.  First of all we hit our local coffee shop for a treat!  Then we strolled around the zoo... for a small town it really is a VERY impressive one.  The kids (and Mommy :-)) were in good moods and the weather was lovely, and we had such a nice time.  Hil was in this very social mood and was talking to people and animals as well.  You should have heard all his "Hi monkey!  'N' do?"  Transilation: " Hi Monkey.  What are you doing?"  :-)

Moments

Our littlest man is doing well!  Putting on weight, still pretty content, though he does let us know when something isn't quite right!

More sister moments!

And Aunt Anna is here!  She is here to visit and help out for three weeks all together, Lord willing.  She has already been a BIG help!

We all took a nice walk this evening.  Our cat followed us like a dog.  After a while Clara picked her up and carried her. It was pretty cute.  Smokey puts up well with not being carried in the most comfortable manner.  :-)  All Clara's jabbering and chatting with the adults was giving Anna and I some smiles as we strolled along.  God is good to bless us with special times.

The Three Blessings!

Poor Ittai!  He does have to be guarded around here.  Brother's not the gentlest.

Goofy, rambunctious rascals!  Sure keep me on my toes... but oh so precious they are!

Happy Due Date!

Happy Due Date, to our newest blessing from the Lord!  TodayWAS Ittai's due date... and instead we get to mark three weeks of having him out here where we can hold him.  Happy Birthday, little man!  And thank You, Lord, for the precious little guy You have placed in our lives!

A moment with Aunt Melissa!  We were so blessed to have my little sister and Mom here for two and a half weeks.  They headed home yesterday.  What a blessing and help they were to us!

Sitting with sister, and looking like such a big boy!

Another blessing!  Aunt Janette came and visited for a couple days!  What a treat!

Not sure yet what color those eyes are going to be.

And the other two gentlemen in the family just gave themselves some close cuts!
